Dr Anu Arasu
Clinic Founder & Bioidentical Hormone Specialist
Dr Anu Arasu is the founder of London Bioidentical Hormones. A leader in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, she has helped train new Doctors and authored the book ‘Bioidentical Hormones Explained’. She also published the first article in the medical press about Functional Medicine. She has always recognised the uniqueness of her patients and she passionately cares about finding exactly what is right for the individual at the time.
Dr Anu read medicine at the Royal Free and University College London, where she graduated with the London Locke Hospital and Stuart Mill prizes, before attaining her Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Medicine; Diploma in Child Health; Membership of the Royal College of Physicians; and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She is a UK 2012 Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice graduate. This has given her an extremely solid foundation from which to provide her patients with tailor-made programmes that optimise health and wellbeing.

Registered Nutritional Therapist
Catherine is a Registered Nutritional Therapist. She received her training from the College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is also an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, which she views as a valuable tool for supporting clients in understanding how they organise their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results they do. Catherine is a registered member of the Naturopathic Nutrition Association (NNA), the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and The Association for NLP (ANLP).
On top of her official training, Catherine travels extensively to the latest health conferences and lectures in order to further her knowledge and keeps fully up-to-date on the latest scientific research.
Catherine uses a holistic, whole body and mind approach to explore the root cause of her client’s health concerns. She believes in the power of simple real food meals and healthy lifestyle choices, coupled with goal-setting and positive mindset, as a strong foundation for optimal health. Her clinical experience has shown her that often the simplest of changes can have the biggest impact.
As well as Nutrition, she looks at the way her clients breath, sleep, handle stress, who their community is, their connection with nature, and much more. Catherine views every one of her clients as completely unique and supports them as such.
Catherine has a passion for supporting clients with a variety of health concerns with a particular interest in Hormone and Metabolic imbalances. She offers one-on-one consultations, runs the Metabolic Balance® 3-month nutrition programme, as well as offers personally catered packages, to meet her client’s unique needs.
